Symbiosis Page Views: 1080

• I would hook students by using Brainpop. They have great videos that show many topics, including symbiosis. There are also games and quizzes that can be used to assess what students learned from the video. • Students would then use classroom laptops or tablets to complete a graphic organizer that would involve students researching the three main types of symbiosis, using specific examples. • I would then want to use a read-aloud that deals with symbiosis to read to the class. I would use the document camera during this, so students could see the pictures, and I could easily point things out in the reading that deal with symbiosis. • I think it would be neat if we could skype an ecologist that could talk to my students about symbiosis and give real world examples to my students. • Lastly, the students would use presentation software to create a presentation about symbiosis. This could include PowerPoint, Prezi, or any other software we could find. Students would present this to their classmates. |
