Students will learn/build:
* Shapes knowledge base * Creative thinking skills * Color coding
The lesson will consist of students doing the following:
* A review of shapes will be covered at the beginning of class * Students will be given 15 minutes to draw shapes on their papers. They will be encouraged to use the following shapes: * square * triangle * circle * heart * rhombus * parallelogram * rectangle * diamond * Students will work in groups of two, sharing the Ozobots (we have a limited amount!), having them ride across their drawings. * As the Ozobots are going across their drawings, each pair of students will say the shape and color of each item. * If there is time remaining, students may draw a second picture. |
