You can work with 2-3 other people to produce: 1) A 4-page mini-magazine with stories, captions and photos 2) A 100-word online page with a minimum 10-shot photo gallery 3) Each group member must contribute an individual blog and five photos on a subject of their choosing relating to the group project 4) 5 Quotes and video/audio sound bites from students on campus (other than in this class) 5) Each group’s package will be presented in class after May 6 deadline Deadline Schedule: Week of April 11: Form groups, develop pitch, outline and assignments for project. Each group will have a page on www.cannonline.org Week of April 18: Continue taking photos, gathering information and filming sound bites for the project. All photos, sound bites and information due April 22 Week of April 25: Design refresher instruction and layout of mini-mag spreads, write print and online stories, captions and headlines – online posts with slide show/iMovie due April 29 Week of May 2: Complete mini-mag spreads – revise, edit and update online posts – group presentations with PDFs on Powerpoint/iMovie slide show. All work is to be done and ready to present by May 6. |
