Students will be assigned into small groups of four or less. One group will us the Osmo kit to solve problems collaboratively. Students must discuss different solutions and decide how to solve the problem presented together. While this may spark a debate, students will learn to weigh their options and communicate the best way to solve it. Another small group will use the Osmo kit to read a digital story and demonstrate comprehension with a quiz. Other small groups of students will be checking out books, reading independently while pedaling on stationary bike pedals, listening to Podcasts to predict and create their own, and creating projects in a Makerspace station. |
