Class Description:
Early Childhood Collaborative, inclusive classroom for children 3 - 5 years old. There is a general education teacher, special education teacher and instructional assistants.
Position:
Special Education Teacher
Needs:
Digital Cameras that children can use freely to apply their learning to their everyday lives. Taking picutres will assist in increasing the childrens motivation and language skills. Students that are non-verbal will be able to demonstrate their knowledge on topics by taking pictures.
My Philosophy:
All children can learn together. Instruction needs to be differentiated to meet the needs of the individual students.

A.A. in Accounting B.A. in Accounting M.S. in Education with an Emphasis on Integrating Technology into the Classroom Currentlyenrolled in an Ed.D. program at Walden University

Employment History:
General Education teacher in Grades 2 and 3 for 4 years. Currentlya PPCD (Program for Preschool Children with Disabilities) teacher, 2009-2010 will be my 11th year.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I love the inspiration I receive from working with young children. They teach me to see the world in a fresh, new way, and to enjoy every moment.
