Class Description:
We are a third grade classroom in SW Missouri. We have some technology in our classroom. My classes do some podcasting that we post onto our classroom website. So far we only do audio podcasts.

Needs:
We have one voice recorder for the whole classroom. Another one would help expand our ability to record. A microphone would help improve the sound quality of our recordings. Adding video with a Flip video camera would add a whole new visual dimension to our podcasts.
My Philosophy:
I believe that technology tools help add a new layer to our learning. It allows us to expand our learning beyond the 4 walls of our classroom. We want to record what we learn in different formats to so we can learn in several different ways and make our learning much deeper than just reading a textbook. We want to share our learning with the world. So they can learn from us, and we can learn from them.

I teach to help children succeed. My students are excited to come to school and excited to learn. We work together to take them from where they are to new heights of learning by the end of the year.
