Class Description:
I try to bring Latin to life for my students via interactive story-telling (my students participate in creating the stories in Latin), visual aides, and reading and writing. I use my classroom projector constantly, with videos I myself and friends have made in Latin, images to help discussion in Latin, and illustrated stories which I discuss with my classes in Latin.

Anything to increase student ability to interact with language. I am looking toward video projects, oral activities, and stronger interaction on the web.
My Philosophy:
Teachers should teach both through words and actions. My words mean nothing if I do not show them to be true through my example.

About Me:
I moved to Georgia with my family (husband, Jacob, and son, Phoenix) because some of the best Latin teachers in the nation are here, and I always seek to improve myself and my teaching. I also was drawn here by the University of Georgia's outstanding Classics program.

Activities:
I love to cook and taste new foods. I love art, both as a viewer and experiencing it with my son. I even try to bring art into my classes whenever I can.

Why Do I Teach?:
I want every student to love learning as much as I do. I chose a field of study that I love and made it my life; I hope that my students are inspired by my example to do the same.
