Class Information:
Students per Class: 27
Class Description:
I teach in a high poverty area in the inner city. Our school has a free and reduced lunch program. Many of my students do not have technology in their home. I have an overhead projector and 3 old computers in my room. Have 27 students in my classroom I feel as if I'm not reaching all of them because of small amount of technology that I have available.

Needs:
I am wishing for a SMART Board 680 with UF55 Projector to enable my students to be hands-on learners. This SMART board will allow for ALL of my students to become actively engaged because it's big enough that all students will be able to participate at the same time. I want to be able to provide my students every opportunity possible (with hands-on learning, virtual field trips, science exploration, etc.) so that they may become 21st Century learners.
My Philosophy:
I feel as if all students are able to learn, no matter the situation. We just, as teachers, need to be able to provide every opportunity possible. My students are the most valuable item in my classroom. They need to be nurtured, taught, and shown they can and will be successful as long as they give it their best.
