I teach English to 10th-12th graders

Needs:
In order to meet the increasingly demanding state standards, I am looking to incorporate more technology into the classroom. This will help show students how to actively engage with and question the world around them, especially since we live in a media-packed society. Obtaining a few student computers, a projector, and a digital or video camera is a priority for me.
My Philosophy:
My students deserve to have the same access, experiences, and knowledge as everyone else. Unfortunately, in our small, rural district, that isn't a reality. If they are to gain the skills necessary to be active citizens before leaving high school, it's up to me to work a little harder to get them the resources that will help them.
