Digital technology is used as the class serves a photographers and reporters for the school, but I would like for technology to play a larger role connecting students to the art of digitial storytelling and movies.

Why Do I Teach?:
Why...because I love it!
I am certified to teach English in grades 7-12 and I spent my very first year at Sanford teaching 7th grade English along with a quarter long 7th grade Exploratory class and a semester long 8th grade Exploratory class in Drama. Having been involved in and studied theatre and dramatic arts in both high school and college, I was overjoyed to have the opportunity to create a year long Drama and Writing Workshop for 7th graders along with beginning a Drama Club after school.
