Class Description:
I have a terrific class of students. My students are a nice mixture of Latino, Asian, Caucasin, African-American and Somali students. My school serves a large low income population and we have the biggest ESL enrollment in the state.

Needs:
I am trying to bring in as much technology as I can in for my students. I would really love to get a printer that the students can use, some digital cameras, and computer software.
My Philosophy:
I believe that is important for all children to have access to the most up to date technology as possible. I have recently received some technology in my classroom and it has really opened up the possiblities of how I can expand on a theme and make connections across the world and have my students be a part of that.

I am have been teaching for the last 5 years. I am alsor a mom and a grandma, so I am very busy.
College and Degrees:
Concordia University-Portland-BA-Education and teaching degree. Working on my Masters Degree and a Reading Specialist Endorsement.
Activities:
I love to go hiking with my family. I enjoy reading and love my family reading group.
