Class Description:
My students are high school kids who were referred from their home high schools for attendance, behavior, or academic issues.
Position:
English/Language Arts teacher
Needs:
I teach at an alternative high school and so I'm constantly looking for alternative and nontraditional activities and instructional practices.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach so that my students will have a fighting chance at a good education in a time of educational inequity and inequality. I want them to have opportunities to succeed, regardless of their background, zip code, or other factors.
