Class Information:
Students per Class: 200 students per year
Class Description:
I currently teach film and digital photography and computer art studio. I also teach AP Art History in the same studio space.
Position:
Art teacher
Needs:
I need scanners for my students so they may put their original drawings into the computer and turn them into digital works of art. I am also looking for additional technology that will help my students succeed. My classroom space is limited.
My Philosophy:
Everyone is capable of being successful. I have students redo work until they are successful. I also believe in serendipity. Sometimes happy accidents are a plus because creative problem solving can arise from the situation. There is more than one way to get our work done correctly.

College and Degrees:
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Art Education k-12 from Missouri State Univerisity. I also have ceritification for Special Education-learningdisabilities k-12 from MSU. I earned my Master's in Teaching from Webster University.
Why Do I Teach?:
I love seeing the excitement in my students' faces when they understand what we are learning. I love art and really enjoy sharing what I know with all around me. I hope to instill in my students a sense of appreciation of art and a wonder in the environment around them.
