Class Description:
Second grade classroom consisting of 14 girls and 11 boys. I have 8 children who leave the room for a piece of the day for ELL services.
Position:
Second grade teacher
Needs:
We are need of iPads, laptops, a SmartBoard, an Elmo, and some kind of leveled classroom or membership to a reading program like Reading A-Z or reading Eggs to help reach all learners.
My Philosophy:
My philosophy is that you should never say can. Don't prejudge or place people into categories. As a teacher I am there to motivate, inspire, and teach my students. I try to bring the best out in all of them. I also provide them with a safe haven, where they can feel comfortable and not afraid to take risks.
