Class Description:
In room 31, we learn different Language Arts Skills. Everything from guided small group reading, whole class reading, spelling, cursive handwriting, and writing skills.
Position:
Third Grade Teacher
Needs:
We are slowly adding technology to our Language Arts class, but is a slow process. Hopefully, we will have a full integrated Language Arts & Technology based classroom that is cutting edge and preparing the students for the world ahead of them.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I am in my second year of teaching, and really enjoy what I am doing. I try to keep students involved and learning at all times. I focus on student achievement and emphasize life long learning on a daily basis.
College and Degrees:
I have my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and am in the process of getting a masters degree in Educational Administration.
Activities:
I enjoy being outdoors, driving/traveling,water skiing, and playing basketball.
Favorite Books:
Anything Non-Fiction!
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I feel I am able to reach out and help students on a day to day basis. Students are so eager to learn, I really enjoy testing just how much they can learn and seeing how much they grow throughout the school year.
