Class Description:
I am Mrs. Biles and am excited to introduce my class as enthusiastic with a love and passion for learning. We are highly energized to learn and accomplish goals that we never dreamed imaginable. We are passionate about pushing forward our thinking and staying current with evolving technology that is changing the face of our world. We are a diverse classroom with interests from A-Z. Students enjoy an environment where they can lead their own learning and share that learning with the rest of the class in a form of their choosing (ex: write a book, poem, or song, create a piece of art, PowerPoint, Photostory, Inspiration Web, blog entry, or write a play and turn it into a digital movie with the help of classmates).

Needs:
Though we love life and learning we certainly have our needs. With individual needs ranging from students with ADHD, English language learners, and a remarkable soul who experiences seizures and has already lived through brain surgery at 7 years old the extra help we get certainly brings sparkles to our eyes. With additional funding for classroom materials and technology we will no longer need to sign up in advance to use what we like, but will have immediate access for those unplanned learning moments. With new materials and technology all students will be able to thrive to the best of their ability. Please help us make learning a fun, engaging, and successful for everyone in our class.
My Philosophy:
I truly believe that all students are able to learn and enjoy learning. As human beings we spend our time working towards goals and objectives that are important to us. My students are the most important thing to me. I want to be able to provide for them the absolute best in education possible, and be able to tailor their learning to their diverse individual needs. It is my goal to help them foster new thinking and enjoy hands on activities that give them experiences that will enlighten their lives. I am dedicated to them and appreciate your support.
