Central Elementary School
Class Information:
Students per Class: @800
Class Description:
I teach a newly created class called Technology Integration. I basically teach technology out of a computer lab with some collaboration with classroom teachers. I teach the students lessons that range in simple computer technology to basic uses of cameras (video and still).
Position:
Technology Teacher
Needs:
I am in need of some digital cameras as well as some video cameras. Our district is in the middle of Appalachia Ohio and is a low income school district. Only about 30% of our students have internet and working computers at home.
My Philosophy:
Children learn best when they can relate to their own world. In order to accomplish this, students must be able to experiment their lessons with hands on activities.
