The students I work with attend our school for a variety of emotional and behavioral issues. Students reside at our campus for an average of 9 months. My class consists of the youngest students on campus. (and my favorite!) They are some of the brightest, funniest, and most resilient individuals I've ever encountered.

A teacher is one of the many learners in the classroom. My job is to help students discover and build on their own strengths. Every child has a gift that can change the world if given nuturing and development.

I am currently entering my 13th year of teaching. 12 of these years have been spent working with special needs students. I love helping students discover the ways they learn best, helping them learn new skills, and watching them take off on their own direction.
