Class Description:
I teach 8th grade regular/advanced/inclusionEnglish classes. I also teach a journalism class that creates and publishes the school's yearbook.
Position:
8 gr English & Journalism teacher
Needs:
I need digital cameras and the materials that go with them to update my journalism class and expand out my English classes to incorporate more technology that my students would most likely use outside the classroom setting.

About Me:
-Oldest of 6 (4 girls and 2 boys) -I have 2 cats both are girls (Bailey and Smokey).
College and Degrees:
Ball State University--BS in English Education for the Secondary level
Activities:
During the School year: eat, sleep, and grade papers During the off school months: work, work, and sleep :)
Favorite Books:
I don't have one because each book is a vacation from stress/boredom/work. :)
Interests:
Reading, chess, traveling, college and professional basketball and football (GO, COLTS!)
Employment History:
4 years at Sleepy Hill Middle School 2 years with National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (1 year as a scan operator and 1 year as a site manager)
Why Do I Teach?:
I love knowing that I'm leaving an imprint on the future minds of our world and hope that I help lead them towards making decisions that positively affect them and those around them.
