Class Description:
We are a functional academics and vocation-based classroom for students between the ages of 14-19. These students are on track to train and potentially receive a job out in the community. We are trying to set them up with the skills not only for work, but also to build meaningful relationships with others. We focus on functional math, reading, and life skills. Most importantly, we value practicing a lot of social skills. Conquering fears, setting boundaries, how to be considerate of others, what it takes to be a good friend, advocating for themselves, and having FUN.
