I have a diverse classroom of wonderful children that are enthusiastic about learning. We currently use computers to blog about information, research, type papers, learn and communicate.
Position:
2nd grade Teacher
Needs:
We use technology as often as we can. However, we can only use the computer lab for our technology purposes. Currently, the higher grade levels will be using the computer lab every day for the entire day for testing. We will no longer be able to use the computer lab for the remainder of the school year. If we were given IPads and laptops to use in our classroom we would be able to continue using technology.
My Philosophy:
The 21st century is filled with many opportunities for our children to collaborate with others from around the world. It has given our children opportunities to experience or learn about things they never would have heard of before. Using technology in the classroom is no longer optional. It is an absolute must-have!
