Class Description:
I teach Communication Arts (English) to all of the 7th and 8th grade students. I co-teach with the special education teacher 2 fully inclusive and completely heterogeneous classes, one per grade. My class is structured around learning centers: Writing center, Vocabulary center, Reading center & Technology center. I want to integrate more web 2.0 tools into my curriculum, as this is the future of communication!

Needs:
More networked student-use computers. I could use 10 laptops for my classroom. They should have the ability to be networked in to teh school system so that all my students can moodle, blog and post to our classroom wiki, as opposed to just three at a time.
My Philosophy:
I believe that students should be encouraged and inspired to reach their fullest potential. Students should be allowed to explore their own ideas and build their own knowledge in a callaborative, safe and supporting environment.
