Class Description:
These are inner city kids with disabilities. I have a mixture of students with different disabilities. Many are Learning Disabled. I have around 10 students each hour for 5 class hours a day.
Position:
Special Education Teacher
Needs:
We need better computers so they can use them to write papers and do projects. We need a Smart board so they can learn in a more hands on way. We need MP3 players so they can have things read to them on an individual basis. We need a document camera so I can teach them with things from books that I do not have to duplicate for them all to see it.
My Philosophy:
I believe all children can learn with the help of others. There are many generous people out there and I hope one of them sees this and helps our class out.

About Me:
I believe in using technology as much as possible. I attended many classes on technology and I use it in my classroom often. I am an Intel Master Teacher.
College and Degrees:
I have a Masters in Special Education.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I believe that our youth are our future. I love kids and want to help them be the best they can be. I hope that I will make a difference in a child's life.
