Class Description:
In my classroom we promote learning through listening,singing,moving and playing. It is imperative that each lesson be fully engaging and that my students be immersed in the musical experience.

In order to best reach my students at all levels I need more technology in my classroom. We need at least two laptops, five tablets and five ipods or mp3 players.
My Philosophy:
Its is my personal philosophy that if you invest time, love and understanding in your students you receive the same. Students learn from positive experiences more than they will ever learn from negative ones.

About Me:
I am a full time elementary music and chorus teacher. I have been married for six years. My husband is a band director in our district. We have a two year old son. Currently, I am completeing course work for my Masters in Music Education.
College and Degrees:
I have a Bachelors in Music Education from Limestone College. I am currently completeing course work for my Masters of Music Education from Anderson University.

Employment History:
I've been professionally employed for six years as a full time music teacher.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teacher music to over 800 students in a suburban school. It is my mission to improve my students lives throught arts education. In my classroom I seek to open my students eyes to new music and experiences. I also hope to challenge my students musically and intellectually!
