Class Description:
I have 2 classroom because I teach 3 subjects to 6,7,8 and 8th grade New Arrival students. My students are predomiantely Hispanic and have just arrived in the US with little or no English, and sometimes with schooling in their own country.
Position:
ESL Teacher/DC
Needs:
We are in desparate need of good Spaniah/English dictionaries (electronic and hardback) and updated computers.
My Philosophy:
I believe that every child should be given an equal opportunity to become successful, regardless of their ecomomical situation. We need to invest in our children's future and provide them with an enriched learning environment.
