Class Description:
The class is made up of six students with special needs. Each child is unique. They have varying disabilities and curriculum is designed to meet each students individual needs. One student has cerebral palsy and uses a wheel chair. She is nonverbal. She has a tracheotomy and a feeding tube. Her cognitive skills and adaptive skills are very low. We just started switch work with her last week. Three students in my classroom have cognitive impairments.
