I have students from all learning modalities. Many are tactile learners who need hands on activities to grasp new concepts. A few are more auditory and do very well when they can listen to presentations.
My Philosophy:
Every child has the right to a classroom where they never feel intimidated and are always encouraged to do their very best. Where they can make a mistake and know that it will be alright. No one is perfect, all you have to do is try your best.
Personal Information:
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because it is the only job that allows me to go to work and do what I truly love. I worked in the corporate world and did the whole business suit thing, but was very unhappy each and every day. Now I go to work and play with my students. There is nothing better than seeing a child smile when they finally grasp a new concept.
