Class Description:
I have a class of highly energetic and eager to learn five and six year olds. This is the first school experience for over 75% of my class and our school in situated in a low income area.
Position:
Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher
Needs:
We are looking for technology for kindergarten students. We are hoping to have Leappads for each student as well as battery chargers. Currently,we all take turns on the one Leappad that I purchased.
My Philosophy:
Students learn in a variety of ways. I try to provide hans-on application as much as possible. Technology is a great assitant, especially to those who have never had the opportunity to utilize these programs.

Why Do I Teach?:
I love teaching children to read! They are so excited when they connect letters to words! I enjoy seeing the look on a child's face the first time he or she realizes they can truly read!
