Class Description:
I teach a wide range of learners! Each student has their areas of strength and their areas of growth. I love the progress that I see each of my students do over the course of the year. There is nothing more amazing to me than watching this process and progress!

Kindergarten Teacher
Needs:
I have many learners in my room, some students with fine motor needs, some with hearing needs, speech needs, literacy interventions, and so much more. It is important that all of my students are reached and that all of my students have the opportunity to be successful in the classroom. I appreciate the opportunity to differentiate my instruction to reach all learners.
My Philosophy:
The students that I teach on a daily basis come to me with all needs and abilities! It is my responsibility to help mold and shape these minds while making sure that each child's needs are met, whether it is helping a student grow in the area of math because they are an advanced learned or modifying my instruction for a student who is a struggling reader. The importance of my position and role of teacher is critical in helping my students succeed!

My name is Allison. I have been a teacher for six years and I love growing in my career each year. I love to take advantage of opportunities presented to me throughout my life and growing as a teacher as well as a learner!
College and Degrees:
Bachelor's of Early Childhood Education K-3 with a 4th and 5th Grade Reading Endorsement, Master's of Education with a focus in Reading.
Activities:
Reading, traveling, running, swimming, water skiing, spending time with family, picnics, hiking, and learning about nutrition!
