Class Description:
My third grade students are busy, diverse, and curious. They love lessons that keep them moving and their brains stimulated. Constantly, I am looking for new English lessons that are both engaging and challenging for my students. They are a fun group that continues to learn each day while coexisting in a respectful classroom culture. My students are a diverse group of children with a huge thirst for knowledge. I hope to keep challenging them be increasing student engagement in my English lessons.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach at a public school in Tioga, Louisiana. The community is supportive and also very involved in our school. The school atmosphere is one of respect, rigor, and fun! However, we are economically low. Our school has 75% of its students on the free and reduced lunch plan. Also, every Friday many of our students receive a food bag that ensures their meals over the weekend.
