Class Description:
Math and Science to 5th grade students who are currently working above grade level or are labeled gifted.
Position:
5th grade math/science teacher
Needs:
We lack the technology to enhance our project based learning and investigations in an advanced curriculum. Currently all of our technology centers around weekly use of a laptop cart, a team shared promethean board and school shared digital camera. We have no video camera or podcasting equipment.
My Philosophy:
My philosophy is to have high expectations of my students and they will reach them. I am preparing students for a future in a fast paced, digitally based, technological world, where they will play, think, investigate and learn.

I have taught for 8 years and am currently a national board certified teacher.
College and Degrees:
I have a bachelors in education I am ESOL and Gifted Endorsed I have a master in TESOL and I am a Middle Childhood General Education National Board Certified Teacher
Activities:
I am currently math committee chair, math league coordinator, tech team cofounder, first in math coordinator, district math contact, textbook coordinator, gifted contact, and teacher of the year for 2009.
