Why Do I Teach?:
I live by the quote "be who you needed when you were younger". As a student who struggled tremendously in high school, both inside and outside of school, I believe that teachers are the advocates and role models that inspire their students to achieve more than they see possible for themselves. I would not have made it to college or be the person I am today without the encouragement of my past teachers. I teach for my past self, to help my present students, with the hopes of making future leaders.
