Class Description:
I teach in a rural school district in Arkansas. My students are mainly a part of the lower Socioeconomics level. I have high standards for all my students and each child is taught at their own level.
Position:
Fifth Grade Literacy Teacher
Needs:
Technology is my biggest need. I am teaching children that have grown up in a technology age and our teaching methods have changed to meet the needs of our students. Tablets,Chromebooks, flip cameras, microphones, and editing software.
My Philosophy:
Technology levels the playing field for all learners. Technology meets the needs of all learners and it doesn't discriminate like society except when it is not available to all.

Why Do I Teach?:
I believe in free public education.All children should be invested in and given the opportunity to contribute to our society. The children are our future ...a treasure that needs to be protected and nurtured.
