I started teaching the yearbook class two years ago. At that time, one of the Cannon digital cameras didn't work. The class only has two cameras. This year, the other camera isn't working, so we are down to taking pictures and covering all activities with just one camera. At $250.00 for each repair, we can't afford to fix the other camera again. We have fixed them at least three times. We are asking for at least two more cameras. We also only have four computers that date back to an earlier time.....they are very slow computers. It is also difficult for the students to make their deadlines with only four computers, but bless their hearts, they make do. We could use up to date computers that don't freeze up on us and can hold the software we need to publish our yearbook. The kids raise money throughout the school year to purchase disposable cameras and memory cards, to cover the additional cost to publish the yearbook (they have sold $4,000.00 in business ads so we can make the cost on the contract to publish the yearbook), and to raise money for the yearbook workshop they attend in July. I hope that someone can help us out. We are a small community of 4500 with about 950 students in our high school. Please help us if you can.
