I have 5 classes of Language Arts students and I'm trying to teach them to write sentences, paragraphs, and the 5 paragraph essay.
Position:
English/Lang. Arts Teacher
Needs:
I'd like to use a wireless student response system to create a more interactive and interesting classroom. Most kids don't like writing, and I know I could use this technology to make it more interesting for them. Our school currently has 1 of these systems in use for about 950 students, and those that get to use it actually ask to take quizzes and tests with it because they enjoy it so much.
My Philosophy:
I do whatever I can to make the required curriculum meangingful and interesting for the students. I don't have a say in what I teach, but I do in how I teach it. so I try to make that "how" as powerful as I can.
