My students are sixth graders who are very inquisitive and eager to learn. They are easy to build relationships with, and they work hard every day. Most of my students also have supportive families, and I am lucky to be a part of the school community to which my students belong.
Position:
ELA Teacher
Needs:
My students need more access to and instruction with technology. While many of my students have access to some sort of technology at home, my students do not learn many technology basics before entering middle school. I know the value of integrating technology into education, and a classroom set of computers would help my students learn so many valuable tools they can use throughout their educational careers.
My Philosophy:
I believe all students have the ability to learn and be successful, and I believe it is my job to help students see this in themselves.

I taught eighth grade at Trewyn K-8 after my position at Mossville ended. After two years at Trewyn K-8, I pursued other teaching opportunities, and I am currently working at Illini Bluffs Middle School teaching sixth grade.
