Class Description:
Special needs classroom primaerly for students with emotional behavioral disorders.
Needs:
I work at Alternate Learning Program at Oneka Elementary and my students(k-5) have low average to superior cognitive abilities. My students have a variety of primary disabilities, including Emotional Behavior Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Other Health Disabilities. This program is a federal setting 4 emotional/ behavior and Autsim disorder self contained program. My classroom is a new room that the district created due to the high volume of referrals that Northeast Metro 916 has received.

Why Do I Teach?:
I have learned “I CAN” accomplish anything with a focused mind. I teach simply because I want to instill this belief in young adults with a variety of abilities.
