I teach Elementary General Music to 350 in students grades K-5. Our class focuses on a variety of musical elements from singing, to performance, to analyzation of music from throughout history and around the world.
Position:
Elementary Music Teacher
Needs:
Our class is in need of hardware to support the software in the classroom. The addition of vocal recording tools and video recorders would allow for elements to be easily integrated into our classroom
My Philosophy:
Simply put, my philosophy is to incorporate whatever is needed to help my students to get the most out of music class. I believe that technology is great, but the greatest tool that we have is the creative mind of our students. Whether it be pencil or computer whatever tool is needed to help these digital natives make connections to the future I am willing to include in my teaching.
