Class Description:
I have several students at the high end of the academic profile, reading at a third grade level and beyond, and several students that are severely struggling with letter-sound correspondence and are not yet reading. I have 16 amazing students who are such a blessing to my life and have already taught me so much about the career of teaching.

About Me:
I am a first-year teacher from Pennsylvania, currently working at a school outside of D.C. I live north of Baltimore and commute around three hours a day to work. Luckily I love what I do!
College and Degrees:
B.A. from Elon University, 2010 Maryland teacher certificate for German (7-12) and elementary education (K-6)
Activities:
My first year of teaching is just about my only activity! In my very limited free time, I spend time with my husband and our two kittens.
