I teach 6 courses a day--2 each of 6th, 7th and 8th grade Honors Reading. I have the best job in the world--working with exquisitely curious students. We are a very diverse population in terms of race, class, and ability, but we all share one thing in common--our love of learning! We use technology every day to learn such things as creative thinking, vocabulary from Latin and Greek roots, analogies, and critical reading skills. We are becoming literate of our world!

My Philosophy:
I believe in a democratic learning environment where each student is respected and is pushed to think critically about everything. My key phrase, which posted on my ceiling is, "always ask why".
