I recently retired after 42 years in education. I am still doing consulting in the ed tech field and teaching graduate courses and workshops. Love ed tech and just can't give it up entirely!
Position:
Consultant (Semi-retired Educator)
Personal Information:
About Me:
I have been an educator since 1972, first as a grade 7 - 8 math teacher, then as a high school math and programing teacher, then as a technology coordinator for two elementary schools, and last, a tech integration specialist for a supervisory union. Just retired but want to continue to be involved in ed tech part time.
College and Degrees:
B.S. in Education and Math from SUNY Plattsburgh, NY, MEd from Saint Michael's College, Vermont
I read and listen to books all the time! I read many of the best selling author's books, but, the one who makes me laugh out loud and lightens up a dreary day is Janet Evanovich.
Why Do I Teach?:
When I was going to college, girls had few options. I became a teacher because I was good at math. I became a technology integration specialist because I love doing my job!
