Class Description:
My classroom is a resource Reading classroom for grades 6-8. Student abilities range from very low functioning to moderately high, in resource terms nearly grade level. Students in this district range from fairly affluent to poor migrant worker's children: we have a very large demographic!
Position:
Resource Reading
Needs:
Computers and a Smartboard the most. We really could use any type of technology, including programs that help with student reading
My Philosophy:
I believe every student should be given a chance to reach their full potential, regardless of whether or not they have a learning disability. I expect my students to do their best, which I tell them. I also don't expect them to be perfect, something I also tell them.
