Class Description:
It is very difficult to describe the many personalities and talents of my students. They are all so different and shine in various ways. I know that I have future artists, musicians, and writers in my room. Who knows, I may even have a future Nobel Peace Prize winner. Our school is located in a military town and many of my students have ties to the military in one way or another, with several students having parents serving in Iraq. Although several of my students have been born over seas or have lived in multiple states due to military relocations, most of my class has a very limited knowledge of the world around them. Their experiences are limited, and they would greatly benefit from the exposure that technology brings.
Needs:
It is difficult to call these needs as I have been teaching without them for 11 years. However, I think that the access to information and the level of engagement of my students would benefit from: - Document Camera - LCD Projector - Smart Board
