I am a teacher in a Title I school. Our class consists of the best and the brightest in our area.

Needs:
The classroom would benefit most from adding the following technology items: SMART Document Camera, SMART AirLiner Wireless Slate and The Leap Frog Leveled Reading Series.
My Philosophy:
Students learn using a variety of mulitiple learning styles. Technology is the best way to reach all learners.

About Me:
I am a wife and mother. I have the best husband and two wonderful children. I began in education as a second career. I realized very quickly that teaching is a passion for me.
College and Degrees:
BS in Elementary Education K-6
Activities:
I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. We love to whitewater raft on the Natahala in North Carolina.
Favorite Books:
I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I was hooked after reading the first few chapters of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I love that Harry starts out as just a guy that no one pays any attention to and becomes a hero.
