Class Description:
I teach both Business English and English I to 9th graders. These groups have very different educational needs, and I do my best to meet those needs through stimulating and engaging but meaningful activities.

The technology available to my students is very basic and limited. Adding more computers and an interactive board to our lessons will greatly increase their interests plus open up to them vast resources for real-world applications of language, literature, and composition.
My Philosophy:
As an educator, it is my responsibility to teach students how to think for themselves so they can be productive for their communities and the world.

About Me:
I have been teaching all levels of English language and literature for ten years. I am a wife, a mother, and a student of many things. I enjoy reading, writing, and photography. I am currently enrolled in graduate school and hope to one day be able to develop and improve curriculum.
