Our mixed abilities sixth grade Reading/Language Arts class loves to discuss novels and interact with technology! We're always excited to try out new sites that can help to develop our skills in communicating and collaborating.
Position:
Teacher
Needs:
Right now we're in need of Flip cameras to take our digital discourse to the next level. The technological proficiencies we've developed so far guarantee that we'll put the new video cameras to use almost instantly. We've already planned out some projects and we're ready to go!
My Philosophy:
Attitude is more important than aptitude, and will is more important than skill. If you can get middle school students adequately motivated toward genuine learning tasks, and then teach them and trust them to make decisions for themselves, they will absolutely live up to your expectations!
