Class Description:
I teach students in Kindergarden, first and second grade who have special needs. I support them in their regular classrooms as well as provide individual lessons on goals they are working on. My students have cognitive disabilities, learning disabilities, and Other health impairments.
Position:
Special Education Teacher
Needs:
I need a digital camera to use at school. Having a camera at school would allow me to be able to make social stories with my students to help improve social behavior. It would also allow me to make picture schedules that would be individualized for every child!
My Philosophy:
I love teaching young children the basics of reading, writing, and math. Having students with challenges makes me want to work harder so that I can help them learn. It's truly rewarding to see the "light" come on when they finally learn something new!
