My students range from below grade level to gifted and talented. We are located in sunny Southern California. Our school is a Nationally Recognized School of Excellence. We have won many prestigious awards. Since we are not a Title One School, funding extra projects is very difficult.

Personal Information:
About Me:
I have 18 years of teaching experience. I love teaching students how to read, write, add and subtract. I love when former students visit me and tell me all the great things they are doing with their lives. Recently, a former student was accepted into Med school. Needless to say, I was proud!
College and Degrees:
Master Degree from Cal-State Northridge.
Teachingdegree from Cal-State Bakersfield.
Why Do I Teach?:
I enjoy teaching First Grade because this is the year they learn how to read! It is very rewarding to see students recite the alphabet at the beginning of the year and read chapter books by the end of first grade. There is a tremendous growth in skill ability in grade 1. I love teaching First grade. I have been teaching for 18 years.
