Class Description:
I teach 3 sections of Geometry, 2 sections of Precalculus, and one section of AP Calculus AB.
Position:
math teacher
Needs:
Learning requires engagement and our youth are currently engaged by technology. I have begun using Khan Academy and some other web resources to provide differentiated instruction to my students. In order to accelerate learning I need to build my classroom technology resource supply. This includes student computers, headsets, video/still cameras and software.
My Philosophy:
Effective teachers must first be good students: we study our students to find their engagement triggers, then use them to shoot knowledge to the core.
