Class Description:
We are a semi-self contained 6th grade classroom in rural eastern Oregon. We have one computer in the room and as of this year we have a document camera and projector in our room. My students thrive when I am able to use technology with a lesson, it's what they know. It's a motivator for even the lowest level students.

Needs:
We need computers, a printer for our room, headphones for the computers, and a wireless keyboard and mouse for use with the projector. My dream would be to have a Smartboard or equivalent interactive whiteboard.

About Me:
This is my 9th year of teaching and my first year in Pendleton at the Middle School. I came from a district with more access to technology so I'm searching for ways to bring technology to our school.
College and Degrees:
Graduated from Eastern Oregon University with a Bachelors in MultidisciplinaryStudies and minors in Elementary Education and German.
Activities:
I am a mom of 4 who loves to teach, do crafts, and clog. I also run the Family Program for my husbands National Guard Unit.

Diary of Anne Frank - all time favorite! Anything from Lois Lowry and Gary Paulson
